TO ALL:

to update your entry on the CPP-Ottawa spreadsheet, you may now PM me (IvanP) or amikety or Shylox. And if you have fewer than 10 posts and therefore can't yet PM us, feel free to post here and one of us will probably see your update and add it to the spreadsheet.

IvanP

Feel free to add me to the spreadsheet:

Category........: FAM - Spousal/Common-Law App
Visa Office......: CPP-Ottawa
App. Filed.......: 18-10-2012
AOR Received.: 19-12-2012
Med's Done....: 04-09-2012 {completed prior to sending in application -- Dr kept the form so I'm hoping they mailed it in -- this part was a bit confusing to me}

Thanks! There's no difference in this spreadsheet for people applying inside or outside of Canada, correct? Btw, I think F74 should say 10/18 and H74 should say 12/19, no?

If you mean by Visa Office, then yes. Inland applications go to Vegreville, not Ottawa so logically, they wouldn't be on the Ottawa spreadsheet.

However, if you mean by physical location, then no. As long as your application is processed at Ottawa, it doesn't matter.

Not feeling good after looking at the spreadsheet given the fact that people who submitted around us got sponsor approval around the end of the year. Was just trying to figure out why -- new to this forum so a lot of the fields in the spreadsheet don't make all that much sense to me.

You should email/call to try to find out why, because you're well past the published processing time - 30 days. http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/times/perm-fc.asp

It may be that your approval was just never sent to you or got lost in CIC's email system (or yours), or that there's an issue they are looking into, but you should contact them to figure it out - if there's something you can do to move the process along, it's better if you don't wait for them to contact you.

That's why I asked about whether or not the spreadsheet had a difference b/t inland or out processing. I live in Canada now (I have a work permit that allows me to come and go) and inland processing says 6 months and currently processing 10/5 applications. The 30 day mark is if the person lives outside of Canada so I wasn't worried until seeing this spreadsheet!

Yes, no need to worry...these are all Outland applications on the Ottawa sheet :-)

Glad you agree IslandAnnie :) Is there an inland CPP-O sheet?

I believe all Inland applications are in Vegreville (not CPP-Ottawa) ...but either way, here is the thread for Inland applications http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/inland-applications-2012-t90875.4245.html. I'm not sure if they keep a spreadsheet.

Good luck!
