Hello mike2ca,

No, we haven't received our ppts back but Port of Spain visa office has just sent us a reply to our inquiry saying that our visas were issued and our files were completed. Since the visa office received all our required documents and medical results, it took them less than a month to issue the visas. We also received ppt request in the same letter from the office asking for update docs, medical request, and PR fees. Hope your file will go through very fast.

My best wishes for you and all friends in this thread, if some of you haven't heard anything yet from the visa office, please keep up your hope, once our time comes, the processing pace is quite fast.

All the best,

saratracy

Hi saratracy,

Did you receive your passport with visa yet? Just curious how long it takes to stamp your visa on the passport and return to you at Port of Spain after you submit all the required documents. It seems that you also received the PPR at the same time as ME.

Please update here once the info is available.

Thanks

Got Passport requests, medical requests for myself and spouse and RPRF payment from port of Spain this afternoon. All three came at the same time. Medical request in one email, passport requests and RPRF payment in the second email.

Hi Sushma,
Congratulations. :)
It is seen that FSW1s who live or lived in Canada are getting priority now a days. It's just an observation. So what's your case? Do you live inside or outside of Canada?

FINALLY!

Thank God, We survive of a long wait, Thanks to the Immigration officers of Trinidad and Tobago.

I am praying for those who are still waiting for their permanent residency...just keep the faith and pray

and everything will be fine. ;) ;) ;) ;) :)

@usaca,

Yes i have been staying here in Canada since 3 yrs... I think in a matter of week or month everyone(fsw1) will get medical and pp request.

As there were only a small bunch of applications which were transferred to Port of Spain, it must not take too long. Initially they took FSW2 applications and now its our turn FSW1..

Get ready with all the original documents, photographs, passports, updated forms etc.. you might receive it anytime..

Hi Saratracy,

Thank you for your reply. I have finished my ME and am about to mail out my updated documents, too. Would you please advise if you include a pre-paid envelope for Port of Spain to return your passport? Since it didn't mention anything about it, I am not sure if I should do it or not. Would you also please let us know here when you received your passport with the stamped visa?

Thanks!

Mike

Hi FSWCA_11,

Congrats!

Would you please let us know if how long it took for Port of Spain to return your passport with the stamped visa after you sent them all the required documents? And did you include a pre-paid envelope for them to return your passport?

Thanks a lot!
