App transferred from Buffalo to Ottawa: July 2012 (from GCMS no email received)
App transferred from Ottawa to Port of Spain - Apr 24th 2013 ( email received on May 6th 2013)
NOC - 3131

Hi Satya,
I have similar timeline to you. Can you share more information like do you have job offer? Please share the details like i have on left. It will give more idea how ottawa is processing our files. Because Ottawa transferred some files to Mexico City on April 15th. And from your email it seems that they also transferred few files to Port of Spain.

Hi All,
Just got the same email from Ott-pilot that my application has been transferred to port of Spain. And that port of Spain will communicate with me in the next two month. According to the email the application was transferred on 24th of April.
My application was received at CIO on 24th of March 2011
AOR received on 20th of April 2011.
I am fsw-1,Noc 3112

I also just received the same email from CIC that my application has been transferred to Port of Spain. I applied with a job offer (I think that's FSW2?) in March 2011, received an acknowledgment letter in April 2011 and my application has been stuck in RBVO since then. Still waiting for the requests for Meds. I have been working in Canada with a work permit for 3.5 years now. Can't wait for this PR process to be over. It's been a very long and frustrating journey

I applied as FSW-1,without job offer. But few months after I made the application and received my AOR, I got a permanent full time position with a government department. So I am fsw-1 applicant.

Hello guys,
I also have received an email from Ottawa today saying my application was transferred to Port of Spain on April 24.
My timeline is as follows:

FSW1
CIO file receipt: March 3, 2011
Credit card withdrawal: April 5, 2011
PER: April 25, 2011
RBVO (Buffalo): May 3, 2011
IELTS: sent with package
PCCs: sent with package
In Process: waiting
Medical request: waiting
Visa: waiting
Landing: Have stayed in Alberta for almost 3 years

The average processing time for FSW of Port of Spain is 18 months according to CIC website. I hope we won't suffer starting the queue from scratch. Our files have been going to too many visa offices, first Buffalo, then Ottawa, now to Port of Spain!!!!

Here are my case details:

Applied in: March 2011
Medical Requested: Feb 2013
Medical Done: Mar 2013
PPR: waiting...who knows how long it might take

I have no idea if this is good OR bad but I need to forget about it as I was optimistic but now who knows how long it might take ...

Got same reply from CPP Ottawa,
Buffalo received my application on 14th Feb 2011
Transferred to Ottawa on June 2012
Transferred to Port of Spain on 24th April 2013
My work permit will expire in May and facing hard time to find a new job so donot know what to do?
Whether I should leave Canada after my work permit expires then how about my PR ?
Can I stay based on the PR application here until I got my PR?
