Hi, could you pls tell me if he/she is a buffalo to Ottawa PNP transfer case. I can't read french :D.

Used a google translate tool for the french blog and that guy had the following timeline...
my dates on the cic website: we have received your October 25, 2011; medicals received (4 April 2012) we began treating the case 30 May 2012 ; received RPRF fee and PPR: Aug 14, 2012

hi there,

i've got almost the same timeline, federal part for QSW. i'm optimistic to get the ppr before xmas, if its that fast.

the only thing in my case is, i had several employers (with good reputation) in europe, hope it won't take them too long. my GCMS notes "told" me CRIM=Passed ELIGIB=Passed MEDS=Passed SECURITY=empty field, but somewhere else is written "1". who knows....

.....Soon....soon...

I think you will get it really soon since you passed everything. You sent your application a month ahead of me, and went into In Process a month before me, I hope you will get PPR soon so I know what to expect. Good luck!

thanks lilbabu,

I wish you good luck, too.

still 3,5 months left, ( i want to go on xmas vacation, thats why) .. it'll be tight... but we'll make it!

cross my finger. !
hope CPP is moving again

To follow up on this post from June, I finally got an e-mail today (August 16) from Ottawa confirming "that your medical exam results have been received and assessed." A few hours later, I got another e-mail asking for a copy of my passport and the Right of Permanent Residence Fee! BIG relief.

Hi everyone. I wanted to add my timeline to the list. I applied for permanent residency through the Manitoba PNP. I live in Connecticut.

MB PNP Application Sent: January 2011
MB PNP Approval Received: July 25, 2011
Federal Application Sent to Buffalo: September 2011
Federal Application Received by Buffalo: October 6, 2011
E-mail from CPP-Ottawa acknowledging receipt, with file number and medical form: November 10, 2011
FBI Background Check Results Sent: December 2, 2011
Medicals Sent: December 27, 2011

The eCAS site says "In Process". In the details, in addition to the October 6 receipt, it says "We started processing your application on November 30, 2011." There is no mention of medicals being received, but USPS tracking says it was delivered (location: "CANADA", unhelpfully) on December 30.

I sent an e-mail to Ottawa on February 10 asking if they got my medicals, but received no response. I sent another e-mail, updating my address, on May 18; it was acknowledged on May 24 and eCAS reflects the change.

I suppose I'm getting a little impatient, having read through some of these threads and seeing people get a passport request who submitted their application this year. And I know there's a bit of luck involved, but I'm also a bit worried there's no mention in eCAS of receiving my medical results... the Canadan-approved clinic in CT seemed a bit behind the times, honestly.

Anyone with words of encouragement or an application from last fall that's still pending?

Thanks, Brian

congrats gs13..one my friend's has a similar time line as you, and he also received the passport-request 2 weeks ago.

1. the last line on his ECAS status is same as yours. So does this mean, that they never explicitly state that one's application has been approved??

2. Also, who issues the PPR and updates the ECAS? is it people at Ottawa or Detroit?

3. Lastly, do you have any idea, how long does it take for Detroit to mail back the passports?? (my friend enclosed a canada post return envelope. Did you do similarly?)
