You can point out that mistake to IO at POE.

We are landed immigrants and we have the same issue. After a lot of research and phone calls to CIC the final outcome is that you will have to wait for your PR card to arrive and then get the PR card corrected. You can try your luck with the officer while landing like how we did but i was told that since the error originates from our passports we will have to get the passports fixed then apply for PR card correction.

Hi,

In my spouse's COPR, the marital status is typed wrong. Can it be corrected at the POE?

Thanks in advance.

As far as my understanding goes POE is just for entry related stuff. Not sure if they will entertain any corrections. I might be wrong........

Sorry for not giving a clear answer.

I am facing a similar issue,

My COPR shows nothing in the First name and whole name is printed in "Family" name. I tried to correct this at the POE but officer could not correct this issue. Any guidelines what to do from here?
Is this because of CIC policy of putting everything as one name (in family name) if there is only one name given on your passport. My indian passport has the my whole in "Given name".

Any help is much appreciated.

got stamped pps just now..
but recieved COPR totally wrong , only my pic on COPR and all other info of another person.
