Did anyone receive the "do you still want to immigrate" email today?
AOR August 2020
was expecting something to happen today, but no emails were received. still waiting
I still haven't received it Ahmed. Its rather strange if we don't receive it this week as they more or less said it was a certainty all pre and post March expired holders would receive the email by the end of October. If nothing is received by the end of the week I am going try my utmost to get in contact.

after the expiration of my CoPR back in August 2021. I emailed the VO -Cairo- and they replied after a month in Sept 2021.
in summary, they told me: to wait for further contact and that I do not need to contact them again.
I m not sure what else can be done besides this stressful waiting! :(

Hey @RN-LauraB,
Please see the info below (the info was sent to me by VFS in August 2020 so I'll suggest you contact them to validate it - things may have changed slightly) . I sent our passports to the VFS Sydney office from Melbourne back in August 2020 - I would have sent our passports to the VFS office in Melbourne but we were in lockdown at the time. I had to pay the package transmission fee (I paid with money order purchase from AusPost) when I sent our passports to the VFS Sydney office becuase we had our biometrics done at the VFS Melbourne office (before the lockdown). In your own case, your family members may not have to pay additional fees if they had previously provided biometrics at the Canada Visa Application Centre – Sydney, as per the info below.

I will recommend you give them a call or email them to cofirm what needs to be done. Cheers.

Hi,

Thank you so much for your informative reply, it was greatly appreciated.

For other people in the same situation (as your ready for visa email, after re-medicals doesn't include any information regarding fees for expired COPR documentation being re-issued). All of the information above is still correct, except for the fees. They want a money Order or bankers cheque made out to “Visa Rep Services”.

The package transmission fee is $82 per person and courier charges $22.50 per person (these fees are correct for Australia VFS). They also require your expired COPR documentation be returned to them and don't forget the consent forms that need to be completed again.

I hope this helps others as plenty of people are now starting to receive their re-medical's requests and soon will get their second ready for visa emails.

I received the “ do you still want to immigrate to canada” email in September but missed the email and only found today 10/26 and replied. Not sure if they will still honor us.
Anyone have similar experience and fortunately had a positive outcome ?

Hi folks, I am a expired COPR holder (pre March 2020) and i have not receive any communication regarding "do you still want to immigrate" email. I ordered GCMS notes to check if i have missed any communication from IRCC (just in case), and I noticed that APP status is CLOSED now and APP status reason is APPROVED. My question is that should i be concern about the Application status even though I am sure that i have not missed any commuction? I have sent webform to confirm that i am ready to travel to Canada and still waiting for IRCC to send this "do you still want to immigrate" email...
