I’m still wondering how the thread switched from sharing and helping each other out to pessimism, insults and negativity?
I would say people are anxious and tried of playing this waiting game. Even after going through the tiresome process of PR they again need to go through a "kind of verification" by officer and arrange documents for COPR extension.
Insulting each other is no good at any platform. People are talking more to reality now. I believe this platform gives them a chance to at least calm down a bit by writing their thoughts and sharing stuff.
We all help out each other like this.
Peace!!!

No, I have NOT raised "ready to travel" form yet. I am waiting for NDVO to open (Visa will be stamped there ) and IRCC to start giving out ETA letters or at least provide some timeline on how fast they will send it on raising "ready to travel" web-form request.

And Yes, IRCC will only provide ETA letters when you raise a "ready to travel" request. They will ask you for some documentation proofs of travel and stay.
OR asses your dedication to permanently move to canada( if you don;t have flight tickets and air bnb booked).

This whole documentation proof is a paradoxical situation with contradictory rules... LOL

You cant book a ticket and air bnb without Visa, CopR , ETA letter. And you cant get visa , eta , copr extension wihthout Air Tickets and Air BNB.

I am in no way going to put in more money in tickets and Air bnb without getting eta and visa. Already lost a lot in MArch Air BNB bookings and insurances i bought. lacs stuck in AI tickets.

This is 10 hr ago update from NDVO: ( https://www.facebook.com/CanadainIndia/ )

Unfortunately, we're unable to provide timelines on processing Confirmation of Permanent Residence (CoPR) extensions. We continue to work as quickly as possible to process applications we have received during the pandemic.
We will send an electronic authorization letter with further instructions on travelling to Canada and landing as a PR once we have assessed whether travel exemptions have been met.

Is there anyone who landed in the last couple of weeks who can share their landing experience? What kind of questions were they asked, if any regarding intent to settle permanently? What kind of documents did you carry to prove your intent?
At YVR they asked nothing. Not even proof of funds. Just filld form to let them know isolation address..

Folks I landed in Toronto safely on 28th via Qatar airways...and now under quarantine. The whole journey was very smooth..although very tiring. My route was Bom-Del-Doha-Tor. There were no issues in boarding for copr before March 18. Please make sure you get your immigration/landing formalities done properly, as I was let out without copr being stamped, the officer said the passport is enough. I was too tired to concentrate, only to realise it later. Thankfully the IRCC helpline was very supportive and they arranged for a virtual landing by email for me. Thank goodness! Found a prepaid simcard on the airport itself, and a cab outside airport without having the uber app..things are pretty smooth.. This group has been very helpful, thanks to all of you and wish you good luck! Any questions at all please ask away..
Wow, thats very negligent of them not stamping your CopR.

Did they ask any specific questions regarding your intent to settle permanently? Did you carry any documentation to prove that? What documentation did you have on hand for the process?

My route was Bom-Del-Doha-Tor.Bombay to Delhi the middle seats were vacant in Vistara. At Delhi airport they will let you wait at the visitors lounge. There were no issues in boarding for copr before March 18. Hammad intl airport had great wifi, so was always connected. Yes it was a lapse from both sides let's say and I was stressed for a day or two, till the officer on the IRCC helpline assured me not to worry and that we will try to resolve it.
Things asked about were - Quarantine plan, anyone to supply groceries/essentials, funds, baggage if carrying any prohibited items, how will you travel to the quarantine location and so on.
I had my copr, passport and airbnb receipt. Nothing too serious unless ofcourse an individual is not providing correct info and raises eyebrows.

Exactly. This was why I put a question mark when I posted the link because I was like howww? It’s not a very good move booking all these. With the processing times fluctuations and all. Whew.

Hey, congratulations on your landing and best wishes for your settlement in Canada.

Were you able to get SIN at the airport? Have they re-opened Canada Service desk already?

Dear All,

Thankyou for your inputs and this seems to be a great threat to share experiences. I had my COPR expired on May 20th as was supposed to travel to Canada in April. However, the pandemic disrupted all the travel plans. I am currently working in Dubai and was planning to move to Canada by Feb end. Has anyone written to IRCC asking for an extension to be valid for 6 - 8 months with supporting documents from the company as in acknowledgement of notice period which is valid for 6 months or even without documents? I am unsure what to do at this point and do not prefer to leave to Canada with the family and kids during this period. Any inputs or advice would be appreciated.

Thankyou
