for my case I got the PPR directly, there is not the letter with date of new expire, only can know the new expired date when you got your new COPR with passport. that is why I said some of the person got the new extend letter and some person got the re-PPR directly. the letter as below for your reference

please note that we have re-issued the visa and confirmation of permanent residence, new visa validity is 2020/10/31. please find attached the new passport submission letter providing you 90 days to comply. please note that the previous visas and confirmation of permanent residence are not valid.

Hello, Congratulations on successfully getting your copr extended. Could you please let us know if you saw any changes in the GC Key account when your copr got extended like removing the original approved decision or any letter in GC Key account?

I am happy that you got your COPR extended; must be a big relief with everything going on - congratulations.

So your new visa validity is 2020/10/31. I am assuming your COPR/IME expired on 31 April 2020? Did you send a webform to IRCC prior to expiration?

hello all, did someone with copr and passport received, tried to book appointment for landing? i have seen some post on telephonic landing, but i donnot how can you get it. i do understand that in person appointments are closed but are they bookin it for later month? or even telephonic?

Try sending a webform requesting for a telephonic interview to formalise your landing.

thanks, my original COPR expire on 23rd May 2020. and yes I sent the webform to Both CIC and HK IRCC office. due to my case is handling in HK office for all CHINA applicants.

yes, there is some changing in GCkey, the most of the items be re-opened, and new letter request to post the passport for COPR. seems like back to the position between DM and Completed. (called PPR?)

just sharing the news update from my side, I saw the most of the HongKong IRCC issued COPR Holder who expired in March, Apr and will expire in May and June got the extend letter or re-PPR letter for extend the 5-6 months for the M1 & M3 original IME person and 3 months for the M2 IME person. . just for your reference.

That's great.As their covid condition has improved may be and lock down is over.
We have not yet been given medical extension.Forget abt re-ppr.But assuming they are giving 6 month extension from copr expiry they should start reppr from june or july max so that we get our new docs back in time and can actually fly before 6 month time frame.
I really don't want to get my passport 15 days or one month before new expiry and then book flights at high prices.
But unfortunately things are not happening as we want them to.
