Hey I was wondering if anyone here applied for PR as a convention refugee? If yes, when you arrived here as a refugee claimant, did you get a deportation order to be in effect in case your hearing didnt go positive?

1. You get a departure order (usually) if you lose at appeal, and don't leave within 30 days of the decision, it turns into a deportation order.

Did you make your claim at or post entry? If post entry what category were you admitted as - visitor, student etc?
