Hello everyone, I'm feeling confused about which information is accurate. I've been told by different immigration professionals that I qualify for the Job Offer stream. I currently work part-time as a PSW in a long-term care home, and I have one year of experience with a total of 1,288 cumulative work hours.

One professional said I fall under the In-Demand Skills stream as a Home Support Worker, while another mentioned the FSW or International Student stream since I graduated last year. However, after reading the requirements, l'm still unsure which stream applies to me.

I'm also running out of time, and while my employer is willing to give me a job offer, I don't know which stream it should be for or which one best suits my situation.

What province and what exact stream?
Hello,
It’s the Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program under the In-Demand Skills: Job Offer stream. My NOC code is 33102. I earn over $25 an hour, which is above the median wage for my area.
Although my job title is “part-time,” my employers are willing to submit documents through the job offer portal confirming that I consistently work and am guaranteed 30 hours per week, with no end date. My position is ongoing, and I’ve been with the company for 1 year and 2 months.

Where is your NOC listed? Tell Employer to file as full time job in the new Portal and fill out all the required information. Job must be permanent, full-time.

NOC 33102 is for nurse aides, also known as personal support workers. This is a TEER 3 NOC. This NOC qualifies for the Express Entry healthcare category and also for OINP Employer Job Offer: International Student stream (assuming you studied an eligible program in Ontario).

The one that qualifies for the OINP Employer Job Offer: In-Demand Skills stream is NOC 44101 - Home support workers, caregivers and related occupations.
I did study in a listed college and I graduated last year.. I think my only concern is regarding my job title :(

Which leads to another issue: my employer listed the NOC code as 33102, but the immigration lawyer wants me to use 44101 because my job title is “PSW.” Depending on who I talk to, they interpret it differently.
The lawyer also pointed me to articles showing that NOC 33102 has been accepted under this stream before. I’ve consulted two different immigration consultants, but they keep giving me conflicting information.
They’ve both said I shouldn’t worry about being listed as “part-time” since I consistently work full-time hours (30 per week), but I don’t fully trust what they’re telling me, if I ask for clearer information they brush me off. :(

What are your guaranteed hours ?

If you’re guaranteed part time hours , then you’re part time .
I was classified part time guaranteed 25hrs a week.
Which means I could never be offered less than 25hrs a week, but NOT guaranteed anything more

However I could be scheduled up to 37.5 which is full time . But my official job in my HR profile was part time

Employers don’t like to put it in writing as permanent full time , since it locks them into giving you full time hours

NOC 33102 is not on the list so Impossible to apply under this NOC at this time through this specific program.

The NOC you select must match be a match to your job duties. Your job title is irrelevant.

My HR prepared a draft letter guaranteeing my hours:

“Y/N currently works approximately 30 hours per week, typically averaging four shifts per week based on her current and recent schedule. While her position is classified as part-time, her hours have remained relatively consistent.”
