Good afternoon all,

I was a student, and to complete my education, I had to do a 6 weeks OJT, for which I was issued a co-op work permit. So my question is, do I include that while I record my physical presence form or not? I was technically still a student, but I was also working with this company that was assigned by the school. I got my work permit, immediately after I graduated.

I was a student, got co-op work permit, then PGWP, then PR, and now for the citizenship. Please help thanks.

In case of doubt, include everything here. There's absolutely no issue listing both the student status and the co-op work permit for the same period.

Thank you for the response, one last question, if I did submit that I was a co-op work permit holder for 6 weeks period, what should I select in the Type category?

1. Visitor
2. International Student
3. Temporary worker
4. Temporary resident permit holder
5. protected person

And, if I decide to just say I was a student all the way through before I got my work permit, is that still fine? Is it fine if I don't include the co-op work permit history?

Thank you Seym for your response.

It probably doesn't matter much, if not at all, how you go about it, but if you're supposed to list your work history and include the 6 weeks part-time job, why not include the status under which you could have said job?
Also, given the choices, I suppose "temporary worker" is what works the best here. Good luck!

Thanks a bunch Seym, I will go with including it in job history. Have a good night.
