I sent a fax to CIC this morning to make a spelling mistake change. Someone from the client relations status left a message on my voicemail because I was out to eat with boss....

has anyone heard of this? I am wondering if it's not a scam or something, because when I called back, it's a voicemail telling you to say your name, client ID, who called you and why.

Call them back. Nobody could use your name and Client ID# to get any information about you aside from people at CIC - and considering the fact that you sent them a change request, it's not beyond reasonable that someone might call you back to ask for clarification or something.
