When one becomes PR , what are few things that he/she keep in mind right from beginning which might be helpful when citizenship stage comes in? I became PR on Mar, 2018

TIA

Keep a track of all your exits and entries to Canada. Including all family members that you would apply for Citizenship.
This is also handy when you renew your PR card.
Exit Date, Entry date, Duration of Trip, Where to ?, Places visited, Why?, Page number of Stamp in passport. Start putting this in a journal or Google Sheets.

+ I've heard how people with many jobs in the past have a hard time remembering where. So if you are one of those folks keep a record of those with Date started, Date Ended, Office Address, Manager or Contact name, Contact Phone and Contact email

+ If you have stayed at multiple address, it is a good idea to keep track of those start and end dates, with the actual address.

1-keep tracking your travel history dates(port of exit/entry)
2-jobs history
3-tax history
4-keep your original COPR lading paper.
5-when you apply for citizenship keep the record of what are the docs/application forms that you sent them as you may need at the interview....

For point 5, you mean all docs/application forms that are filled for citizenship perspective or also for PR ?

Do you guys recommend this...."its advisable NOT to submit citizenship application as a family because issue with any one family member (failed citizenship test, document or more details needed etc), will cause the whole application to fail"?

It is true that if one is delayed, all are delayed together.
My family just went through a 9 month delay because of PPQ (Physical Presence) request for additional documentation due to a high number of entries/exits from Canada for myself. But the delay wasn't a problem for the remaining members of the family as we all wanted to do this together. We will take our oath on Feb 7th all together and we prefer it that way even in the event of our delay in processing.

Apply together or separately, based on such preferences or individual circumstances.
