Thanks wadelmaki and Kisunja. I will keep you all posted.
This has been a very long waiting time for us (Edmontonians) compared to other local offices in Ontario.
I just would like to get this thing over with, I'll start reading the reviewer and practice online.
;D
HOPE FOR THE BEST!!!

Hey everyone,

I finally wrote my test today after a very loooong wait. My timeline is below.
I was told that it takes 2 to 4 months to be invited for the oath, granted
everything else goes well. I don't what is left to do that could not have been
done in 2 years.

Anyone heard of someone getting RQ after the test in the Edmonton office?

Hopefully, many of us become citizens in 2014 and then you know who to vote
for in 2015 (hint: *not* for who made you wait this long. Remember your ABC.)

1. Application Received: May 11, 2012
2. In Process: March 11, 2013
3. Test: April 30, 2014

Congrats Edmonton408! That is very good news. I also wrote my test on April 30th in the Edmonton office.
They also asked me whether I have any vacation plans in the next 2 to 4 months. Did they give you the
specific date in the interview after the test on April 30th?

Congratulations Edmonton408, great news for you

when I took it, not too long ago, they didn't even whisper anything about oath. oh well, this is so unfair and sucks for many of us. I was sooo happy when they scheduled my exam and then I took it. I felt so happy that finally I am done with this citizenship process. But I immediately after talking to those girls (CO), my smile disappeared and I was back to being depressed and I lost any joy I had. Good job officers.
