He told me after around 6 weeks actually. So will see how it goes.

I am also from Hamilton. I haven't written the test yet.

Here is my timeline:
Oct 23 2014: application received at Sydney office;
Jan 19 2015: AOR email sent to me;
Jan 21 2015: IP started, according to eCas;
Jan 21 2015: files transferred to Hamilton office. (I called CIC and got this info. It is not shown on eCas)
Now: wait for test letter.

So what is the general waiting time for test, after files transferred to Hamilton office? What is your experience? Thanks for sharing.

So we can guess oath timeline after test....

Most of us here waiting for oath are in Jan test taker.

It seems CIC are updating their system info. Today my Ecas was updated with a new line showing that they sent me a letter to do the citizenship test, although I took mine more than a month ago.

Anyone else with the same situation?

I just checked mine. Exactly same thing happened to me too.

I cannot wait to see the next coming line.... hope to see it in March...

A Hamilton test taker in other threads got an Ecas update of Oath on March 4th. He took the test on Feb 9th.

I guess things are getting closer.

There always inconsistency in the process in terms of timings. I guess each case differs, as much as there are different officers and different offices. But there is some sort of wider consistency which logically should indicate of closing dates. Good luck to all of us.
