Hello,
We just received Citizenship interview call of my mom of age 65.
We applied from Milton but her interview shall be at Scarborrow in June.

They have asked to carry
1. Two identification
2. PR Card
3. Original passport and
4. All original documents related to her citizenship application.

My question is if they asking separately for PR card then what are two identification to produce.

What do they mean by all original documents related to her application?

Kindly provide me the list of documents to carry with her.

Thanking you wonderful group.

Passport can serve as ID for 1) as well as for 3)
Driving licence or provincial ID or health card can be the second ID for 1)
PR card is not ID.

They don't accept PR card as ID that's why it is mentioned separately. Your two IDs can be Driving license and Health card. If she doesn't drive then you can also show her current passport.

You must have sent the copies of documents along with your citizenship application form. They only want to see the originals of those copies. That's it. Not sure what documents you sent for 65 years old but generally documents are ... Degree , transcript, proof of English , police certificate (if required), proof of landing (very important), PR card, health card, driving license, all current and expired passports covering past 5 years from the time you applied.

Hope it helps.

Thank you very much for your perfect response.
She has her Ontario photo ID and health card the photo copy of which we already submitted with her application.

I am worried that her English is very poor. Also I read on this Forum that they issue a kind of form to fill and submit under this scenario do they allow for me to help her as translator?

If yes, how to proceed it.

Hope for your helpful response.

Thanking You
