I guess security clearance for your travel/outside residence is taking time.
Thank you. Do you think they do the security clearance before sending the application to the immigration office? ( Mississauga in my case).

Hi everyone,
I received my AOR on Sept 29 but no update since then. Not "in process" yet. Is that weird that it take that long? Just a bit worry. I'm new in here so my info is not on the spreadsheet.
Thanks.

Hello Everyone,
Today I received a letter requesting that I submit my fingerprints. Which is the best and fastest method/company/agency?

"After reviewing the biographical information on your application form, there are questions in your case with regard to sections 21 and/or 22 of the Citizenship Act, explained further on the second page of this letter."

I guess it refers to my travel back home to visit my family for 2 months in 2014.

Cheers

It is a local finger printing request. I noticed people from India PAkistan and Bangladesh, Afghanistan are the ones who get FPP. I have no travel history in past 6 years. Taxes paid. Stayed in only one place. Stable job and 6 figure income. Still FPP.. not sure why. As soon as they see your name and region FF request

Yaqoob, don’t take it to your heart. It will help processing the application.

I am from one of these regions but was not asked to provide FPP - I landed in 2012, applied for PR in 2010 under FSW, traveled to my home country for just 2 weeks since coming to Canada. There has to be some other criteria they are considering which we do not know the details of and hopefully will come to light soon. This cannot be purely random.

My only guess could be, under which FSW (the year) did you migrate to Canada - it could be that they had more stricter screening policy and the ones who came to canada with an older FSW are being asked to provide FP?
