Citizenship application in August 2017

I feel like the AORs are going to start arriving any day now for the early August applicants. If June and July are any indication, they're averaging 35 days from delivery of the application for the AOR to come. And, we're at 35 days since August 1!

I feel like I've been waiting so long to be able to apply and now that I have applied, I wish time would speed up and get this done!

Yes you are right it usually takes about 30 days but in current situation more because rules are different now and many others are eglig

I am also trying to create a Skype group or maybe watts app group if everyone agrees to it. We can share live updates personally to us and can also help eachother

Purke is already updated and pmln applied on Aug 11 got AOR on Aug 31. That's what I know.

Current average processing time is 5 months as per CIC. Can we expect to get the citizenship certificate in about 6-7 months time approximately?

You've been added to the spreadsheet. As for AOR, for June and July it has been averaging 35 days for the AOR to come in... this doesn't mean it's for sure (there are applications that have been waiting longer), but of those who have been providing information to the monthly spreadsheets, that's what the averages have been over the last two months. As for citizenship, CIC says 12 months, so I'd expect that and hope that it happens faster! Using the spreadsheets, it looks like it has been happening faster, but it's a very limited dataset (it seems like a lot of people stop updating their progress).

I am really hoping get the citizenship by Mar/Apr 2018.

I have already booked a European Cruise for May 2018. If I don't get the citizenship by then, I have to apply for visas. :-(

Are AORs received by email or mail?
