Yup, as long as you have been to the US or to Canada before....

Good step towards getting rid of this requirement.

Anyone know if just having a visa for the US will help? I am wondering for when my inlaws decide to visit. I know they have the card for easy border crossing, they haven't crossed the border though.

I have a Mexican Passport with a USA Visa that expired 2006. Last time I was in the USA was in 2002.
I also have a Belize Passport good for 10 years. New.
I just got my USA Visa renewed but this time I got it with my Belize Passport instead of the Mexican Passport. 10 year B1/B2.
Why you ask?
Mexican Passports are a real headache to get even as a Mexican and they screwed up my name. In my expired Mex PP they have my correct name with my Canadian husbands surname. The new Mex PP has my maiden name only. So I figured when it does expire I will not bother getting a new Mex PP.
Was in Canada in 1996 for a vacation and not back since.
Do you think all will go well and I can still get a TRV fast & easy with my Belize PP that has the USA Visa if they know I am also Mexican?
I can fly to Houston for a couple of days if needed so I am within the 10 year mark.
Any advice appreciated.

Really? Mexican passports are super easy to get, I got mine in 2 hours.

I think you will have no problems, as long as you send the double nationality papers (both PP) you should be OK.

Sadly in Belize it is a nightmare to get a Mexican PP but we learned a trick. They needed some photocopies and would not do them and sent us out looking for a place that does and stuff like that. I was dressed in jeans, blouse and runners.
I went back later and I put on a fancy dress, high heels, makeup and all my gold jewelry. They were bending over backwards to serve me. Needed something else photocopied and they did it right there and then.

So I guess by sending the double nationality papers (both PP) you mean when I apply online to upload both PP scans?

Yes, you are asked to scan all your passport. As you have two you can add to the supporting documentation your other complete scanned passport, so they can also take into account any other kind of visas you might have.
