Anyone here got an email from IRCC.CIO-BRCD.IRCC@cic.gc.ca with Subject: "Ready for Visa"?
At a first glance, it doesn't look like other cic emails that I have received (looks like scam, to be honest) plus my account has no update but the email said I can determine to send my passport (PP) to CPC Ottawa PR to receive the confirmation of PR (people from some countries and the US don't need to submit original PP). I guess this could be good news after months of waiting? Has anyone who has been through this before? will need a piece of advice before sending the PP. Thanks!

Biometrics request: December 20/2018
Biometrics provide at VAC in Colombia: December 26/2018. But still in my GcKey account: "we have not received your fingerprints yet. Check your biometrics messages" I sent a couple of times through Web form that me and my family provided the biometrics even I attached the proofs but I only get as an answer that they forwarded my request to the office in charge. What can I do? is my application in hold because of that? when do you think I will get the next step which I hin is medical exams? thank you

Sometimes the answer to each step can take up to 3 months, just be patience. You’ll do fine!!!

No aor until today.

Of course, As soon as I get the AOR I will post it. Hopefully no later than next week.
Communication received today. Passport pictures required. ( I assume they didn’t like the ones I got from shoppers) I went to a professional photographer. 7 days after receiving the letter, if not they will send back the application.
Communication sent by email, got the Application Number and the request to link my profile.
Pictures uploaded on the portal and sent physical pictures by courier. (Today)
