Hi guys, I just recently got an LOA from MPNP, now, I would like to know how to apply for CIC paper based application? Do I need to consult a CIC official and pay them to process and help me fill in those forms? Thanks in advance. :)

They will send links of cic for further proceedings. Study them repeatedly. You can easily fill it and submit.

I accepted Paper based NSNP application and sent my application to IRCC during September. In October, i received my OINP Express entry nomination and accepted it. I then sent a letter to IRCC to withdraw my paper based application. I waited a few days but there was no reply.

I received ITA in one weeks and went ahead with the procedure and submitted my application to IRCC again (online via Express Entry).

Just last week, i got my NSNP based paper PR application withdrawal email.

Will I have an issue since i accepted both NSNP and OINP nominations?

FYI : i went ahead with both paper and ee based simulatenously because of this link in IRCC :
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/helpcentre/answer.asp?qnum=1142&top=29

Thanks.

Got my PPR thru ontario nomination FSW outland. Please check my timeline below. They cancelled my Nova Scotia based paper PR application and went ahead with Express entry based PR process instead.

Can we cancel a PR application before the AOR stage? If yes, will they still debit my credit card? I am planning to use my credit card for payment.

Yes, I got it cancelled and they didnt charge any fees. Got my PPR :D

Hi All, this thread had been really quiet.

I have a few questions:
- Will CIC require proof of Funds at some point during application?
- Also, how long after AOR will they request medical?

Anyone has any updates on their application?

My Timeline:
-PR Paper application received by CIC: January 26, 2017
-Credit Card Charged: March 9, 2017
-AOR Received: March 14, 2017

I have linked my application number to my online account and no updates since then. Only says reviewing eligibility and processing background check.

I sent my paper application to CIC in November 2016. I got a email from them yesterday which I guess is the AOR. So it took 2 months and 4 days to get the acknowledgement. You will need the Application number and the UCI to link your application online. I was able to link mine after getting the information from CIC. I hope this helps

Hi, have you received any updates since linking your application?

Got aor today
My time line
Sinp oid category
File cio received on 15 th Feb 2017

Hi everyone,

Please i need assistance to correct a mistake on my application. In the generic form for Paper based application (PNP) to CIC, I entered "skilled worker" as the sub category instead of "provincial nominee program". Document was received on the 23 Feb, 2017 and because of this mix up, I can't seem to link my application online before AOR. Asides this, all other information entered are correct and submitted with the right document.

Is there anything based on experience that I may do?

*Panic mode*

I don't think they will refuse you only because of that. The worst case scenario is they will let you submit the new one for replacement. you should receive a reminder letter after AOR.

From what I have been given to understand on my same question before that it takes almost an year. Not sure whether its accurate and reflect future standard, but it does appear to be the case if you look at timelines from people who had received AOR in Jan-Mar 2016. Several of them are just now getting MRs.

Dont lose hopes of receiving it sooner as all we can do is speculate and you might be lucky. I am in same boat as you so lets pray it gets better :-)
