Guls n Guys,
If you are sending an email with attachments, you may want to keep the attachment size below 1mb. Now, i'm not saying that this conclusion is based on any advice from a cic document, just my own experience.
I recently emailed cpp-O and attached a document exceeding 1mb pdf file, i did not get any response for a week. Then i re-sent the email, only with reduced file size around 0.5mb pdf file. I got the response the next day.
Now it could be that initially my email was blocked by some spam filter on their email system (though 1mb is really nothing and shouldn't be blocked...im sure that's not the case and believe me, i want to be wrong on this one!)...or its just that my initial email didn't make much sense to the officer who viewed it at that time and then second time luckily some kind female officer read it and thought...'hey i should respond back, he seems to be a nice guy.' Really, no clue why they dont respond sometimes. But its a good idea to keep your attachments of minimal size and give them a week's time before you re-send your email. Let them know you are re-sending the email because there was no response of your prior email.
All the best.
