just_do_it..dude u r doing a great help to all future students who are comming to canada by posting these types of post....my question is i will be applying for sep 13 intake for 2 yr progrm and my passport expires in jan 16...so will this creat a problem in getting permit after study...also i went to dubai in 2008 with family..so i have a visa of UAE...will this effect me in getting student visa???????

renew your passport or your visa will be till the expiry of your passport. Permit is different but saves you the trouble of having to renew your passport + visa.

not sure how travelling to dubai would be a problem? Infact, I would consider it a +ve point as it shows you have a travel history.

thanxx dude..also tell me if i want to renew my passport in canada is it a complex procedure or simply i have to go to embassy and they renew my passport..???
