Actually I have my brothers there in Windsor Ontario, so landing is not a big issue for me, I hope that I can find a work and everything will be wonderful.

Hi there! Congratulations.
I am not sure if I will give you the correct information. But what I know is, the faster way is to submit it directly to CHC London and you may get it in a couple of days. Unsure as well of the procedure if you have someone to do that for you. I hope seniors from this forum can give you a better idea.

Maximum of 6 weeks (should be mentioned on the letter you got as well).

Yes you can have someone drop it off on a Wednesday and he can pick it up on the 3rd Wednesday (2 weeks time), as long as he has the receipt which he got when submitting your passport and your authority letter.

Hay mabuti naman.. Thank God.. at least you can sleep much better now that you know that they will extend the validity of your visa.

Tama kabayan! Yet I am still wondering if how long again it will take before I can have my passport back. since Sept 3, it's the 8th week of waiting. Can't plan for the trip either. (Sigh)

This is what happened..

PPR date:Aug. 24,2013
PP's sent: Aug 28, 2013
PP's received by CHC LDN: Sept. 3, 2013
Medical expiration: 11/19/2013 (also visa validity)
PP's returned: waiting (9th week)


on the 6th week of waiting, email sent to VO regarding the status of PP's. VO response: PP's still at LDN office, extension of visa validity requested. Another email received today. VO: Required medical reassessment ( 3rd time). How do they expect me to react? ???

just have be be patient, the whole process itself is a test of your patience as I have understood go ahead with your meds, another few months and it will be all over, cheers
