Hi Canhope,

Dont worry. The COPR and PPs will be put in ur self addressed envelope and that envelope would be put in an ARAMEX Envelope. So nobody would know that Aramex has come to deliver your PPs and COPRs. Once u get the shipment, immediately remove the AWB paper and then nobody can know what the contents are and from where it has come.

For Kuwait applicants we need a letter from our Murror. That letter would then be translated by an official translator and endorsed by KUwait Embassy in Canada, after which you can use that to shorten your path to Canadian D/L.

Dear all,

Wanted to share one insight about driving licenses. you can drive with your GCC license for 60 days, however after that you need a Canadian License.

What i understood was that if you have a detailed official driving experience statement about your driving record in the middleeast you will be isisued a G2 license directly which allows you to drive alone and in most circumstances.

If you don't have this document you have to go through a long process of first appearing in a written test to get a G1 and then after several months convert it to a G2 and then finally the full G.

Anyone else has any info on this can share so that we all can benefit.

Thanks, I replied to all you PMs yday night. Hope u've gone through those. I feel you should get your PPs today afternoon max. Do keep in touch with Aramex Kuwait. To fasten the process you can go and pick them up from Ardiya office. Friday Aramex does not work - keep this in mind. What time is your flight ??

In the recent past i have made several electronic transfer for funds to canada. i will also check if DD are allowed.

also as per my information, you cannot open an account in canada till you make your landing.

From what I understand, you can open an account and even transfer funds from outside Canada.......but you cannot make withdrawals till you appear in person at a branch of the bank and complete account opening formalities with your SIN.

i am planing to go to toronto (propably missisauga or brampton ) on the first week of september 2011.
we should cooperate all together for the next stage, (what about renting a big house for all of us for the first 3 months of our staying in canada, so we can cooperate with us for the success of all of us,


i have a question, when i will receive my passport, i cant wait.
