Dear Nectar,
My Interview is scheduled on 30 Jan 2011 in CHC Abu Dhabi.
I have submitted full docs in Feb 2010 and no addnl docs were requested.
Oh ya the PCC from one country where i stayed for one year from 2003 - 2004 was submitted with an explanation letter on 25th March, as I could not arrange it within 120 days.

As per my information, CHC London is conducting security checks on SAP London based applications before medical instructions and on Ottawa applications after medical instructions.

If your previous CAIPS details showed 10 points for age and total of 67 points it means your interview has been waived, so upon successful security clearance there is a chance you might get Medical, RPRF and PHEP altogether within 2-3 months.

As per your above information, how come CHC is conducing security and background checks at the same time for SAP applicants? July-Sept 2007 applicants submitted their full docs last year and most either have received PPR or have done medicals. Oct-Dec 2007 applicants haven't even received their documnet update letters so no B/G or security checks can be done on their files. So this new thing isn't applicable on Pre Feb 2008 applicants, they might apply this on post feb 2008 applications.

Dear ahmadtajwer,

I meant to say that those who got update request letters from CHC London during 2009 are on background checks at the moment and SAP November 2007-February 2008 applicants will be processed under new GCMS not CAIPS. Ottawa applicants are under backgrouns checks after their medicals.

Actually background checks are mainly meant to be security checks and to verify documents authenticity is verification not background checks in real sense.

Dear ItsBeenLongNow,

CHC London usually does verification on targeted and random applications.

If your educational institue and employer didn't receive any call/correspondence from CHC London it means immigration officer believes in the authenticity of your submitted documents.

I am sure your application is either on background checks or about to be reviewed after background checks.

Please send a case specific enquiry and you will come to know the status of your application.

Please count 45 months since your initial application to CHC London.

Dear sunnysmiles,

You may expect medical instructions during 2nd half of 2011 provided that your application is straight forward and you had submitted supporting documents in May 2010.

I live abroad, i.e. KSA, the thing is my wife has never lived here for more than 6 months (straight) i.e. shez been to KSA a couple of times
first time 4 months, and then the second time 5 months, when CHC asked me for KSA PCC, i sent for myself only, since she has not lived
over 6 months, your comments plz

Seems you're taking fortune. lol

I received 2AOR from LONDON in March 2010, before a month was asked to send additional docs (one police certificate and updated bio page). I sent them everything before few days.

Could you plz tell me when will i get medical? ahuh and I am a teacher so my NOC not on the new list anymore.

Hi ,
Though I am not an expert but I think you should be sending her PCC from KSA as accummulatedly she has lived for more than six months in KSA.My spouse went to Japan for certifications twice ,both visits were less than six months but I submitted PCC from Japan.
I have also seen CIC demanding PCC from a person who visited Holland just for 22 days .
Wait for the opinions of others as well.
