Dear ItsBeenLongNow,

As per my information, CHC London is conducting security checks on SAP London based applications before medical instructions and on Ottawa applications after medical instructions.

If your previous CAIPS details showed 10 points for age and total of 67 points it means your interview has been waived, so upon successful security clearance there is a chance you might get Medical, RPRF and PHEP altogether within 2-3 months.

Dear Nectar,
Are you sure that London office does the SECURITY (NOT BACKGROUND) CHECKS for 2007 SAP applicants before Medicals.I was always under the impression that security checks always commence after the medical results are received by CHC.Please explain if I m wrong.

Thanks

I can add something to that, Few days before I received my CAIPS. I can comment on this issue by keeping in view my CAIPS Notes. When you submit your full Application they conduct your Background check (Education and Experience check) along with that they do the criminal check (Police Certificates etc.) If you have no problem in your educational documents, your experience documents and have no criminal history they will issue the medicals.

After submitting the medicals, if they found no problem, they starts security checks that involves various agencies and its time consuming, its also includes your travel history and your stay in other countries and purpose of stay etc..

This is the process I believe!!

That may be the regular practice
From our friend nectar's comment
Im under the impression to speed up the process maybe
Chc london may perform sec before meds, so the may send for meds+psp req the same time,

Necter plz comment

Thx

Dear all,

Every CHC conducts randomly and targeted background checks on all applications but the extent of these checks may vary from enquiries to a thorough background checks which depends on an individual application. Security checks are integral parts of background checks which is conducted by CBO & London based SLO.

Please make clear your mind that 'Immigrant Summary & Supplementary Information Form' does not play any role in a longer security checks because CHC London transfer applicant's complete data electronically (through CAIPS) to Ottawa office.

CHC London/other CHC can start security checks after making a positive selection decision. As per my information CHC London works on applications in a batch fashion and the medical and PHEP instructions are also send out in similar batches but some delays mean obstructions in security checks on an individual application.

The Ottawa Pilot Programme office is conducting security checks on SAP September/October 2007 applications after medicals but London office is doing before medicals so that the chronological order processing would not be disturbed. There is a good chance that CHC London based applicants will get medical, RPRF & PHEP altogether in near future or PHEP a month later the date on which DMP submitted the medical reports.

The first quarter of 2011 is very important for SAP applicants.

Dear all,

Please accept my apology, I put pharmaceuticals instead of medical.

Number 3 stands for recommendation to issuing medical instructions or to be issued.

I believe this is correct to the best of my knowledge and information.

Dear Nectar,
I hope your info is correct. Does your bar code feature apply to second AOR too?
Because I got second AOR from CHC London on 18th February 2010. 013 is there with the Bar code. I am under NOC 1111. Not only that I got a call for interview on 15 December instead of Medical Request.
Pls share your views
Thanks

Dear soby,

What is your timeline?
Are you pre or post February 2008 applicant?

Yes you are among second stage applications but CHC London needs to make clear some aspects of your application therefore you got an interview call.

Your interview date please? CAIPS will be very helpful in your interview.

Good Luck

Dear soby,

I assume your interview will be in March 2011 if not please make me clear becuase CHC London must give 2 months for interviewee to get prepared.

What is your latest date to confirm that you will be attending the interview?

Did you submit all the requested documents?

CAIPS will clear all the obstructions in officer's mind.

Good Luck
