VO= Visa office is usually determined in notes or if they contacted you via email regarding the location of file.

VO= Visa officer, applicants can assume their visa officer by guessing their code names in their notes.

How to you know which VO is handling ur case

If they scanned the documents on their immigration database, most likely they won't ask for it again and go straight to the remed.

Like I said in a post earlier that CSIS interviewed me in Canada in 2013. Then in June GSMN notes they wrote back ground check had been started in June 2013. When my husband & I had interview July 07/14 it was then we come to know that his background check had not been started at all.
So it goes to show how they can misguide us all.

No my file is at London office.. I got email from them n my file transfered to London on 24 Feb 2014. I got it through notes.

Security and Criminality checks are done by CSIS (Canadian Security Intelligence Service) , RCMP (Royal Canadian Mounted Police). The CSIS takes 1-2 months and this check is valid upto 5 years, and RCMP takes 2-4 weeks and its check valid till 1 year. CHC also do security check with Pakistani local Police. But it depends on immigration officer when he/she is going to request them not when they ask you to provide Police certificate. RG00712 could be Ms. Gaynor Rent.

This RG is rangi gunewardena.. As earlier someone discussed her name here at forum n got it confirmed through fb.. as I had done remedical my file must b assigned to her for background checks from past 7 months but she is doing nothing...

You can request to see if CIC has asked for your security via CSIS too - you need to have sponsored person fill out the same form as it's done for GCMS notes

Someone in parents thread got that done, don't remember who but they posted there

This is to inform all who are waiting for their Passports to return from Islamabad that TCS has not stopped Booking/delivery from Islamabad due to tense situation there However they are informing to Sender that it would deliver with 2 days delay !

They might not ask you but no trust on CHC.
Its depeneds on immigration officer when he/she is going to request backgrounds and security checks. SO the time officer request background checks. the time starts from there.
Even for myslef waiting for last 5 months and no news yet.

Our file was transferred to London on 19th June 2014 and my wife received her medical examination request from LVO on August 14, 2014. Can someone please tell me if it means it is a good news for us? Thank You!
