2 Questions pls!

Hey guys can someone tell me is CHC islamabad call us i mean if there is a call from CHC then what number will show us like i mean its start from 051 or 02525 ?

because today there was a call from 02525 but when i try to pick it up it got miscall and then no call again

and the other question is which city is best except Toronto i mean i knew Toronto is the best but near to Toronto i heard that Alberta is also good but there is always so cold so for settlement or job wise, your kind suggestion would be really appreciated in sha Allah......

Answer to your 2nd question since Shahmed responded to your first question.

Other than Toronto another province you can think of settling in is Vancouver British Columbia. I've heard it's a bit pricy but so is Toronto.

Now CIC is worrying me with my originals. I havent received them back yet. I know its not unusual as some have received them after 90 days of visa issuance. However, I have also heard horror stories that they have lost the original papers. I hope this doesnt happen with my file.

Same here I got this yesterday too on Jan 2nd and what I know from my GCMC notes Remed is exempt for my wife based on EDE and I hope your wife's Med is exempted too. I got all these forms as well only difference is they asked me to apply Citizenship for my son instead of immigration.

Hi all,

I am so happy as my wife got an email from CHC Islamabad on January 2nd, 2013 for sending them updated forms IMM008, 5490, 5406,5669 and also the police certificates. They did not ask for medical. Will they send the medical soon?

My Time line:

Applied: April 26, 2012
File Transfer: July 24, 2012
Additional Document & PCC Request: January 2nd, 2014

we were recently asked to send some additional documentation to Islamabad regarding my husbands sponsorship application.....we have a complete package but are having issues sending it....

the address we were given was....

Immigration Section
P.O. Box 1042
Diplomatic Enclave, Islamabad 44000


but, TCS is saying that they do not deliver to P.O.Box addresses, and that there should be another address.

If you have sent in additional documentation to the High Commission of Canada in Islamabad, could you please share what address you had sent the information to?

unfortunately they forgot to say passport request....wishful thinking I know.

just tell them you want to send documents to Canada high commission immigration section
they know the address very well

I just followed the checklists and here are two requirements in IMM3907e in which it is specifically mentioned Original in bold. How are we expected to send copies, attested or not.

Nationals of Pakistan:
The following documents are required for you, the principle applicant, and for each of your dependent family members, if applicable to your situation:
• Original marriage certificate for you and your spouse (Nikkah Nama).
• Original educational documents for you and your family members such as transcripts indicating a list of courses taken, scores achieved as well as certificates obtained.

I don't trust them I sent the attested copies not the originals.

In my GCMS notes it say Medical Due date on January 08,2014 and eligibility Due Date is on January 24, 2014. what else should I check in there?
