I have applied in Nov., 2012 and file transferred to ISB in Feb., 2013. This is my second marriage (first one passed away in 2011). Have 3 children from the first 1 and all are Canadian born. any idea if it can be fast so the family unite again. JazakAllah O Khair

Here is my timeline

1. Applied in August 2012 (Nikkah case at that time)
2. File transferred to Ottawa/ISB in September2012or march 2013
3. Rukhsati was done December 2012 volunterly updated them in march 2013
4. Request for Rukhsati/Honeymoon pics in june 2013 and submitted them inJuly 2013
5. Request for re-medical 23 sep 2013
6. Medical completed on october 1 2013

My wife rpcc is expired but they have not asked for it

Does IOM answer at all these days? Has anyone got an appointment from them lately? How long are they taking?

I'm still confused whether to send in the original jewelery, clothing, shopping receipts, boarding passes, expired passport, post-nikkah pics and conversation logs OR wait for CIC to contact me.

I'm just afraid if I do send these in and they request the same documents next year, where will I procure them from? cz the originals will already have been sent to Ottawa.

Any advice/comments? Thanks!
