Today, my wife got medical request. My timeline is as follows:

1. Applied in February 2012 (Nikkah case at that time)
2. File transferred to Ottawa/ISB in May 2012
3. Rukhsati was done December 2012 (never updated document till they asked)
4. Request for Police certificate and Rukhsati/Honeymoon pics July 2013
5. Request for re-medical 1st October 2013

Now I wonder how long it takes for PPR once she is done with medical. Anyone with same series of events and timeline?

Dear Congratz on your re-med,
you will in sha allah get PPR after one or one and half month of sending your medical, but sometimes it takes longer, so be patient and you will hear good news soon, God Bless!

Hi! I noticed you mention that you voluntarily updated CIC in March 2013. Did the voluntary update include ruksati/honeymoon pics? You also mention CIC requested ruksati/honeymoon pics in June 2013. Seems like you had to submit the pics twice? Would you advise folks in this situation to wait for CIC to request additional documents? OR submit them voluntarily to Ottawa and anticipate submitting them again when requested by Islamabad?

I'm a bit doubtful sending voluntary documents since I have boarding passes, jewelery and other shopping receipts ... not sure whether Ottawa would scan and return them (like they did for original documents) OR transfer them to Islamabad altogether. Thanks!
