Hey guys I haven't been on this forum for a very long time. I need help. My husband came here Jan of 2012 and I have found out that he only married me to come here.. After almost 2 years. It's very heartbreaking. Please tell me that I can send him back? He has got his PR card. Please advise and please be very careful when making a choice like this. Good luck to you all.

It will be useless to complain as the conditional PR is not effective for your case as you applied before the new rules applied in OCT 2012. Moreover, reporting such cases will make CHC Islamabad even more strict. Its upto you.

Why does one need diploma and job info for landing? isnt it just COPR + Passport?

Salam, you need to have diploma or job history for a job NOT for landing. Like if your a Doctor you need references or IT worked. None of the info I gave this member for landing its what he or she needs for getting a job In Sha Allah

You must have the B4 and B4A filled. That's what you are bringing to Canada with you or coming later by courier. Its better to write what your taking with you whether its clothing, jewellery or furniture. Have it all written down so you get in and out ASAP.
1. Also you cannot have on you in money over $10thousand.
2. Drivers Licence and any documents pertaining to your Education and Diplomas.
3. Work experience and get a letter of your job experience and a letter of recommendation..
4. Also your resume and your work history.
You will need this for your next job In Sha Allah.

There is a show on TV called "Border Security" and it shows reality immigration stuff at Vancouver Airport. One of the interviews, the imm officer said, people think its a crime to bring more than 10K, we just need to make sure you declare it as we want to make sure its not drug money

For a PR, I have seen bring over 100K for settlement , there used to be 1000 dollar bills 13-14 years back

MICC................Is this normal? Secondly I am not able to check my applications status .....I have

Sometimes they don't send an email specific for CSQ itself. When you receive an email stating that you are approved as sponsor. Print that email and send it along with the complete forms that you filled out for your MICC. That will be sufficient.

It may take a few days before you can log into ecas. They don't activate it right away.

Vow. coincidence or what? same issue between US and India

Another issue that added to misunderstandings between the two capitals was about a junior Pakistani official, Imran Malik, who was arrested on charges of domestic violence in Toronto.

Instead of resolving the matter legally through the Canadian system, the consulate in Toronto claimed diplomatic immunity for Mr Malik — a request that was turned down on the grounds that immunity did not cover allegations of domestic assault and was limited to consular functions.
