@ Princess - Congrats on your case finally being completed. Reallyyy happy for you. But why did it take so long?? After re-med it took 10 months :|. was it a complicated case or what? I'm worried about mine now . My hubby just got his re-med done this month. It'll take 10 months noww?

by Ahmed today.

As CHC ask for Afghan Supplementary Form, the link they mentioned in the letter when my wife access it was supplementary form for Pakistan, so she taught that is also for Afghan national, she print that one and write and she already sent the docs. So now i am depressed what should i do? on that link which embassy mentioned their is Pakistan national form so please guide what should i do? when i open pakistan national form link its same as afghan national form.

It both are same
I found the Afghan National form in Guide Kit that is different, so may my spouse fill the Afghan National Form and send it again to the CHC? and this is not mistake of my wife as the link they mentioned their is wrong form.

Thank you Sister, It took long because My Nikah was done last minute
in January 2011 just 2 days before my return to Canada. I didn't ''live'' with my husband.
Most of my family didn't attend the Nikah because they were in Canada. I applied in May 2011
and answered all the questions in the application honestly. People told me to write that my
Ruksati was done, but as always honesty is part of my faith. This is the main reason behind
why it took so long. In September 2012, CIC asked me to send them complete wedding proof with
Ruksati. I went to Pakistan for 3 weeks gave them the proofs. My hubby was then asked to do his
re-med in December 2012 and they asked again for ''post-wedding pictures.'' Hopefully, we had lots
of pictures, so I didn't have to visit Pakistan again. And then this Email my hubby got 2 days ago is
the only time CIC contacted us.
As you can see complete wedding proofs: before/during/after wedding pictures with your spouse are very
important. I suggest to all those who haven't applied yet to avoid applying in hurry. The time you spent
gathering all the proofs before applying will save you the waiting time after applying.
In May 2011, when I applied the spouse sponsorship time was somewhere around 16-20 months, but the
time now has changed to 31 months. I don't know how much of this affects the people who apply now...

Hi guys i applied for ATIP a month ago
today i got an email from CIC
all i got is application to sponsor form back which i filled in
it has application id , package and type information
and there is stamp on page one it says documents are recieved march 12,2012??
is that all we suppposed to recieved???
what's happening with my case ??

heyy thanks for letting me know. Yes im quite know. btw my timeline is quite similar to yours. Not much difference. And what is this TCS tracking number everyone checks for? Im a bit confused :S

And recently just asked for a police certificate again along with updated forms.

No need to worry about medical , they will take care of it, my husband's medical was update on ecas after about a week from date it was received in new delhi.
with regards to forms, same was for my husband the link they wrote is wrong, so I printed forms from part3 of application specific to afghanistan supplemantry forms, because I thought that made better sense.
