Hello everyone,

I have got myself into an interesting little quandry and would like some help/advice on this issue. I am a Canadian citizen and my wife is in Canada on a TRV. Her visa expires in 2016. Alhumdullilah she is 10 weeks pregnant. However, this presents an interesting little dilemma for me. Since she is not a resident, she doesn't get OHIP and everything has to be covered out of pocket. So far so good Alhumdulillah. Doctor's visits, lab tests etc. cost ~ $100 but are manageable. The delivery/specialist costs amount to A LOT and for a normal, uncomplicated procedure it roughly amounts to $8-10,000. Anymore than a normal day stay can penalize you around $2500/day.

- Is there anyone who has been in this or a similar situation? (What options did you have and what did you choose?)
- If so, is the baby covered immediately after birth?
- On the other hand, if the delivery is done in Pakistan, is the paperwork/procedure pretty straightforward?

Thank you and wish you all a speedy and positive resolution to your cases.

They are refusing our case because the Lawyer was not registered to sign for the Registrar and we have 45 days from August 21/13. They can go to hell In Sha Allah............
In Islam when 2 people marry there is no need for it to be registered!!!
My husband was not at fault the lawyer was and CIC Islamabad said my husband misrepresented himself in this matter! And we can reapply after 2 years can you believe this crap!!!!

time to go

this is a very bad news. I think you guys need professional help. You guys should hire a consultant either here in Canada or in Pakistan sooner. Don't make this forum your only hope for answers as this a serious issue.

Aslamualikum

Thanks all of u . This forum is really really very helpful. May Allah bless all of us and may Allah will come out all of u in this situation. Actually Being a muslim we know Allah only do that which is best for us but we are impetient . Inshallah all of u will get ur visas and Inshallah u wil meet ur partners very soon.
And yes we know being a pakistani we are suffering. But we have no another option only to bear all of this injustice.
Any ways best of luck to all of u.
