All this talk of BFD...anyone in recently see a BFD on their notes? I didn't when I got 1.5 months ago.

CIC changed computer systems...maybe no more BFD's? Their is another way to manage these files so not sure if BFD is their way anymore...not that it seems to matter in Islamabad.

It's been 2 months since they sent the Remed and PPR...going crazy.

I would notify CHC Islamabad as soon as possible the expected date of delivery if the physician hasn't done so already (not sure if they do that?). Since your spouse is a Canadian citizen, the child born will automatically be considered a Canadian citizen. You don't have to add the child to your application, no medical examination or fee is required. You must, however, send CHC-I a copy of his or her birth certificate. Other members can perhaps add to this? :) As far as the length of the process is concerned, I can only guess... no one can give you a specific time length. You just have to go through the process/steps as they come along... :)

My wife completed her re-medical in Islamabad on September 10 and sent her passport on September 14 using TCS. How can I find out if both the remed and the ppr have been recieved. I asked my wife for the TCS tracking number but she is not really that educated (english wise) and doesnt know what I am talking about. Where is it listed and how many numbers/letters does it contain? Same thing with re-med do they give a tracking number for it or no? During the remed they did not perform xray on her because she was pregnant. Will the visa still be issued without it and how long do you think before my wife recieves her passport stamped. I am on a short deadline as our baby is due Feb 14, 2013 (according to Pakistani doctor) and she needs to be here for atleast 90 days to be covered by OHIP which means November 14, 2013...less 2 weeks more in case of early delivery then she pretty much has till November 1st, 2013. What are the chances of it happening?

Unfortunately, the chances of receiving the visa are slim to none. I haven't come across a case where CHC issued visa to a pregnant wife without the X-ray results. Since X-rays are mandatory part of the medical examination, your wife will now have to wait till after the birth of the child to have the chest X-rays taken. The result(s) will then be forwarded to the appropriate authorities, who will review and then forward the file to CHC.

I am not aware of the TCS traking number format so can't help you there, sorry.
