On my GCMS notes last thing it says criminal and due date nov 26 2012 if there's only 1-2 things left to do why do they take 4-5 months to do it i don't get it.

is there any other checks they do after criminal and all ??

yes they do background and security checks... that take forever

If you already got the Re-medical, then criminal and security check is the last check. AFter that they will stamp Visa on your passport.

yes re-medical is done it was updated aug 24. and they have my hubby's pp since july 25 so whats taking so long.

What does the new law mean in terms of spouse landing in Canada? Will it be faster? or no difference?

I had a friend from India sponsor his wife, after 1 month Immigration Canada asked the wife to provide the passport.

I wonder if it has any effect on Pakistan sponspership?

yes re-medical is done it was updated aug 24. and they have my hubby's pp since july 25 so whats taking so long.
