i received a call from canadian high commision on friday morning
the person asked me some question like what are my plans for final reception,what if i am not given visa etc
he told me that he is looking at my documents and i have send a lot of documents
now let c what happens next????

When did you send them the docs.. or you the documents in your original file? Is your husband case or wife case?

That is generic option on their letter regarding pictures, post marriage, after marriage, Rukhsati, and Nikkah pictures with names. So even if they need only single thing from mentioned above they check mark this option.

If some people don't write the names at the back of the pic they should be asked to resend more pictures with names on it. But as for other people who did sent all engagement, nikah, wedding reception, honeymoon or for pakistanis rukhsati with names at the back why do they ask them to send more.

I sent them after marriage photos but I guess not Rukhsati pictures. I'm going to check with other family cameras and get the rukhsati pictures.

Hope everything is going well for all sponsers and applicants. I was wondering if anyone has ever contracted their MP to investigate their case. I'm considering contacting my MP, however I'm not sure what to expect. Has anyone of you had a positive experince when requesting your MP to investigate your case?

Most of the time MPs just inquire application status same as us.
In my case MP was not helpful when I contacted, she just send them case inquiry and they replied the same thing whatever they replied to me "case is in que for initial review.

I sent my docs in December and I still haven't heard anything yet. I think the next part is background check and after that you will hear something back in regards to PPR. 3 to six months maybe.....

This delays their processing time. khudit mefami why they do this?
