Hi all

i did my re-medicals on 23 july but ecas has still not been updated....from wht i gathered it takes around 20-25 days to be updated.........or does it take longer?? should i be concerned??

I got decision made on 18th august But hvn't got pp back yet ....My ecase is showing.... A decision has been made on ur application the office will contact u concerning the decision ..
And Ecase is showing my paki mailing address...Some body saying that it is necessary that ecase shows canadian address .along with paki address .This is the reason i m not getting it... Is it true ??? or it doesn't matter decision made is enough to get back the pp?

They havn't returned any passports after the visa were stamped in the past two weeks. I anticipate that they will return the passports by the end of this week InshaAllah.

To answer your question, it is not necessary to see the Canadian address for the passport to come back. So hopefully all waiting for the passport after Decision made will get the passports back by the end of this week InshaAllah

My husb file is also transfer in dec2010 and send med on may 10 and after that no news so far based on your wait after med it seems like my husb will get ppr end of the sep which is too bad more wait for me.

Salam guys, I wanted to know if any of you guys can help ease my tension.

I'm a december 2011 case, got repcc in Jul 2012. On August 11th I got call from CHC asking if I can land before my medical expires, which is 25th Sep; to which I said yes. they emailed me the ppr the same day (they also said if I dont send my passport within 7 days the whole application will be considered cancelled). my passport got delivered there on 16th August.

After that we got another call from CHC asking our address in Canada, which they have updated in ECAS under 'Your Current Home Address'. (Your Current Mailing Address is still the karachi address). The application status is still 'In Process' though.

I would like to know if anyone else knows what's going on? I have purchased by ticket for 20th Sep, and so I dont have a lot of time to wind up from my office and everything. I can't resign until the visa is stamped but I also have to give 1 months notice. I have emailed them for the status but haven't gotten any updates. There are only 3 weeks left and I have no idea what they're doing.

i got my passport back , thn 2 days later my ecas chnge wid decision made n canadian addressssssssss

so u cnt always depend on ecas , just relax its coming back any day now muuahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

re-medical date may 3 medical done on may 28 and online updated june 15 and ppr aug 15 and revd aug 17

If you see decision made on your E-case and the Canadian address added to your E-case it means that they have stamped the Visa and issued your landing papers. As I mentioned above that they havn't sent the passports back for a lot of people since the last two weeks. So most likely by the end of this week you will get your passport back InshaAllah.

I think it would be safe to give your resignation now as they have stamped Visa on your passport and its just a matter of getting the passport back. You will have to come to Canada before Sept 25 as your medical expires on the 25th Sept. So make sure you purchase the ticket now if you can.

thanks a lot for your reply Danny. A couple things I wanted to add. In ecas its not 'decision made' its still 'in progress'. and secondly, they changed the address after I sent by passport but before it actually reached them. so for landing papers passport is not required by them?

When my re-medical done on June 28 and it took me 45 days got updated on e-cas (Aug 5).

So don't worry! InshaAllah you will get PPR (passport request) letter very soon.

hello to all members

i submitted my pr application at 10 Dec 2010.this is husband case.

i got updated document and police report request letter from islammabad embassy at 22 Feb 2012 and i submitted all the information on time.

i got remedical request letter issued at 10 march 2012 and i done remedial on 6th Aprail 2012.
now 5to 6 month has been passed and i did not get anything from embassy and when i checked the application status on cic website
website still shows

application received in dec
medical has been received


i send case specific queries several time in Islamabad embassy but did not received any reply from them.

kindly let me know this timeline is normal now i am worried about my application...

i have seen over this forum that people file their application in mid of 2011 getting passport request.

its soo unfair to process application applied after.

kindly advise anything to me
