yes bro... u were right!!!.. Allah ka shukar hai!!... wese abhi visa aya nahi hai hehehhee.... but yeh they said that they r gonna finalize the case before the expiry of the medical... thanks for ur support and help.. will keep u updated!!!

hheeyyyyyy ur right... my hubby just got a call as him if he can leave for canada before 3rd march.. and they told us to fil out the forms and send it to them as soon as posible so that they can finalize the case before 3rd march ....
i m ssooo happppppyyyyyyyyyyyyyy....... Allah ka shukar hai.... that this day finally came..... n i m so excited... its middle of he nigh here in canada and i m awake like an owl..... i hpe that eveyrthing else goes smooth Insallah

I finally got my PPR request. Alhamdulillah. Does anyone of you knwo how long does it take to get my VISA because my medical is expiring on 7th of March 2012.

Not too bring anyone of you down but my case has been in processing for almost 28months. It was a simple straight forward case. I even waitined almost 2 years to apply thinking that this will make my case stronger and also by the time i applied I even had a kid. But i guess that didnt work, it still took me almost 28months to get a PPR request.

I never sent a lot of emails to them, maybe once every 3-4 months, neither did i ever orderd CAPIS or even had my wife contact the MP. I heard that by doing all of this (sending emails, ordering CAPIS and contacting MP) your case gets delayed even further. Maybe i was wrong.

I just thought i should share my experience, also below is my timeline.

18 Aug 2009 - Approval received
12 Sep 2009 - Processing started CIC-ISLB
12 Dec 2009 - AOR Received
19 Jan 2010 - Submitting renewed PC and voluntary documents (proof of relationship)
10 Sep 2010 - Submitting more voluntary documents
02 Feb 2011 - CHC-ISLB sends letter to submit renewed PC and fill out additional documents
15 Feb 2011 - CHC-ISLB sends letter to submit Re-medical
7 Mar 2011 - Got re-Medical done
15 Mar 2011 - Submitted new PC and additional document requested by CIC-ISLB
16 May 2011 - CHC-ISLB sends letter to provide Employer letter
17 May 2011 - Submitted Employer letter
25 Sep 2011 - CHC-ISLB sends letter Letter for interview
15 Nov 2011 - Security Interview conducted in Islamabad
03 Feb 2012 - PPR request
06 Feb 2012 - PPR sent WAITING


During this whole process my wife has visited Pakistan onece and I have visited Canada twice.

salam everyone, main kuch kehna chahta hoon jo loog yahan par keh rahay hain k husband case main remedical k baad 2 se 6 month lagtay hain passport request anay tak aur ye timelength depend karti hai travel history par unk andazay theek hain but i want to share the reality.

jnab mujhay remedical karwaye 6 month ho gaye hain aur mery travel history zeroooo hai maine 16 years education apnay city se he complete ke hai aur mera case straight forward hai koi complications nai hain koi criminal record nai hai , aur meray case ko 22 months ho gaye hain ab sab bhai logo behnoo , conclusion khud draw kar loo,

remeber me in ur prayers , aur jinko positive response milay hain unko dil ke ataaaa gehraioon se mubarkaaaan

no they didnt ask for tickets yet cuz we didnt get the ppr yet.. they called us and told us to fill out the forms so they can send ppr as soon as possible so whenever they end us ppr i guess they r gonna ask for the tickets as wel.. cuz his medical is expiring on 3rd march so little time..

yes bro u and bestplace4u are always in my prayers... i hope that u get ur ppr soon cuz ur waiting even longer then us...Insallah ur waiting period is gonna end soon..
