A few people have had their passport request right after their remedical. Lets hope thats the case for your husband aswell since he just did the remedical. It might take them a little longer due to Christmas and new year coming so may be some good news in January...

That means it is sitting in storage and no one is looking at it right now..

Pease maker, you also got the reply from Islamabd in march that you file is under review, what happened after that and what that exactly meant.

Adseez, it is not in que for review which means in storage area waiting to be reviewed. It is under review which should mean that someone is reviewing it. If anyone got same reply, please share your experience.

I got this a while back and they asked for more info afterwards like more evidence and then later they asked for re-medical.

Greetings from Islamabad, Thank you for your e-mail below. This application is currently in process and in queue to be reviewed. Medical examination request letter was sent to applicant on 23 Nov 2010. Back ground checks are under way for this application.
Your representations in this case have been noted and will be taken into consideration when the application is reviewed.

Well if that is what you thinks.. then good for you...

I hope you hear soon from CIC... In my experience you miss one thing in your file, by your mistake or theirs.. They will put you under queue for at least 45 days after sending you the requesting letter for the missing documents.

Read the whole thread below for requesting CAIPS, I requested them a while ago and they were of no help. My wife's file has been sittting in the storage area since April, they havn't even looked at it after that, except to put the documents in when I sent them.
