Changing phone number to my file

Hey guys, I am sponsoring my wife from Islamabad, Pakistan. Applied in Sept 2012 and received first AOR in October. Didn't receive any other paper yet from Islamabad side and my question is my wife's phone number has changed is it possible to update her new phone number since I don't have any file number of her yet.

you can send a case-specific enquiry through the website. State the UCI + name of the sponsor ( indicating that they are the sponsor's info), as well as the file number (starting with F, it's usually given at the time of sponsor approval), as well as your wife's name. Indicate that you want to update the phone number.

But we didn't receive an AOR from Islamabad yet, and don't have a file number for her all I have my UCI number do u think that will work or do u think that I should wait till I receive her File number and then enquire about it and Thanks Again

Did you get already your sponsor approval by email or snail mail? If you have applied in September, then you must have had the sponsor approval. In the sponsor approval, there is 2 numbers: your UCI as a sponsor, and a file number, starting with F + 8 digits. THe UCI is personal ( your wife will get one when they open her file), but the file number belongs to the application, so it's valid for both the sponsor and the sponsored person. With that, ISL should be able to find your file. Just make sure you state your wife's name, your name as a sponsor + your UCI + the file number.
