change of course after landing into college in canada?

hey guys...I am a B.tech Environmental Engg with 1.2 year of work ex( my work ex included lots of marketing and HR related work). If Iam interested in getting admission into Management/HR related course in college in Canada. However, there would be a chance of my visa getting rejected. So, can I get admission in an environment related course, land in canada in that respective college and then switch from there into Management/HR related course.Kindly guide.Regards
