Chance of rejection after PPR submitted

Dear applicant,

Have you heard about an applicants who got -ve decision after submission of PP? I mean VO refuse
his/her case after all medical/RPRF/PPR.

If u know pls let us discus and we can guess the chance of getting visa and it also helping us to
prepare ourself for landing.

I have seen applicants after submitting the passport :
>getting their passports back unstamped.
>interview call
>rejection letter
>refund of RPRF
>visa issued, passport received with stamped visa and then VO calling to return the passport /CoPR back.

I would say till the stamped passport is received, any outcome is possible.

This is the strangest thing i have ever heard in my life ... one has to suffer this long to achieve Canada ... but still i love Canada no matter how hard it is to reach there and to live happily ever after ;D

When vo add 2nd line on our e case then how much time they will take to send mr because on my ecase i have 2nd line from 9th august 2012 they started processing on my file on 6th august please reply

Yes i have also seen cases here for calling back stamped passports, and one guy was sent back from toronto airport, but these cases are rare
I have got PPR1 and status DM, do you think DM means we are on safer side and all the checks are done ?

I am shocked hearing this!
What are the possible reasons for rejecting or returning our passports unstamped after 3rd line in ecas and encashment. Can experts clarify?

"Decision Made" after you submitted your passports VO asked them means that you got your visas. Just wait for some time for them to send your passports with your visas to you.

Sorry Qorax, but 2, 3 and 5 happens only in case of fraud being discovered before applicant managed to use that visa. Of course in case of 5, even if the applicant used the visa he/she will be removed from Canada anyway. Otherwise there no worries.
By the time VO asks passports all checks are done.
ALL.
BUT, in the process of printing and sticking visa in the passport they do final review of the file. In my case the put visa in my (principal applicant) passport, but then the canceled it "without prejudice". In the mean time they asked for two documents. They are on the check list, but not in the file, so they ask. I could not provide those document because they could not exist (well obviously if I could get them I would have submitted them in the very beginning). Therefore I wrote them explanation.
After a few days they wrote to me:
Please note that documents are sufficient and your case has been finalized, results will sent to you shortly.
After that I got "Decision Made" and in few days all our passport with visas and other documents.
So, I have now two visas in my passport, one cancelled, one good one.

there was one here in CEM after PPR which not issued visa due to POF. so guys make sure that your POF were not depleted until we receive our visas

Don't worry, I have a special situation, I have two sons (my real, biological sons, with my name as their father in their birth certificates) out of wedlock (meaning no official marriage with their mother) prior to my current official, actual and happy marriage.
So, after asking to submit our passports VO after one month asked this:
To continue processing your application, a visa officer requires that you submit the following information and documents. Please submit your documents as a single package. In order for us to match your package with your file, please include a copy of this letter in the package.

Please submit for principal applicant SlavaSZ
- Copy of original Civil mediation paper for your divorce.

Please submit for dependant SlavaSZ's son who is 17 years old:
- Custody agreement showing who has legal custody of this dependent

Since I had no official marriage with their mother and we parted without any objections to anything including custody of children therefore there was no Civil mediation and custody agreement was oral. As for the son, they had notarized permission to immigrate with me from his mother. So, they need not to worry about who has custody of him. I wrote VO a letter explaining all of it with relevant articles from Family Code of my Country. A few days later got reply, a few days more Decision Made and a few days more passports with visas.

Again, unless something happens like fraud and luck of funds, Decision Made after submitting passports as per request of VO means "Yahoo! Got my visas!"

I've sent our passports for ppr last feb 2012 until now i haven't receive it. It has been almost 5 mos waiting. I emailed CEM to asked about our status and they said

Dear Applicant,
Your file is currently queued for review. We regret that we are unable to provide a specific timeframe for the finalization of the application, and we appreciate your understanding while you wait to hear more from our office.

Thanks all for your opinions, in my understanding rejection after PPS; because they request pp after they did all background checking.

But i have one question, after submission of passport, do they request us to provide them an updated POF or they just confirm from our bank based the previuos bank statement that we submitted?
