CEC October 2014 Applicants

My open work permit is expiring in mid June although my current employer won't mind if I work few month on implied status as Hr asked me if legally I am allow to work or not? I said yes as I heard about that but I might be wrong. I am Oct 20 applicant and nothing heard from CEC just AOR although Medical and RRPF paid Upfornt.

Yes, you can legally keep working if you applied for a new work permit and you are on implied status. If you have not applied for a new work permit and run out of status, you cannot work.

I hope so too. Good luck. PS: Yes, it is legal for you to work while your work permit application is in progress, but hopefully you will have your PR by June

Can anybody plsssss tell me, howmuch time does it take to get medical after requesting T4 & NOA? its been two weeks buf just no news. Pls help

They received my application on October 6, 2014 and I have not yet received any update nor the medical request. The second line was added two weeks ago in ECAS and nothing happened.

Deeply in panic.

We received your application for permanent residence on October 6, 2014.
We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s) on February 10, 2015.
We started processing your application on February 11, 2015.

Is there anyone else in the same situation like me?

My application was recieved on Oct 16th and aor on Feb 18th, med and rprf paid upfront in early march no updates after. I am guessing its because i sent NOA, t4, pcc, copies of paystubs and everything along with my application.
Have anyone tried making a complaint through this

This is for service canada complaints but not sure if we can use this to raise a complaint against slow processing of ircc. I even applied for a bowp on sept 21st 2015. When I called cic on end of feb they said its approved but i still havent recieved it and its still not showing as approved when I log in online. My workpermit expired on December. I went to service ontario to extend my OHIP. Their check list shows that AOR should be enough to extend OHiP but the lady their had no idea what AOR is. She said they make all these changes but we dont get proper training on none of these. Government offices are so funny world wide. My employer is one among the top 5 banks in Canada so i didnt had to explain HR what implied status is.

I was patiently waiting all this while lol now i am waiting impatiently since thats the only option.

I got my Medical request on 10th and gave medical on 13th. How will i find out that whether the medicals is recieved or not by CIC

I got RPRF Request on 3th march and paid on 5th and payment got settled on 7th.If i am opening the CIC Portal through my reciept number of RPRF,Same is opening

Anyone has an experience,Port RPRF,What is their TAT and how do they go about. Someone said one week...Its over..Someone said 15 days,its over.

Someone said 1 months. going to be over on 5th april..

I did upfront and the same evening they sent me email confirming that they have received my medicals and next day it was updated in ECAS as well.

Yes, they can ask for nay document any time. I did last year so may be its not valid anymore. Even though I didn't travel after I did my RCMP check last year, they still requested me so I did it last evening and the results will be there today or by Monday.

I did mine last Tuesday, and confirmed with the doctor's office that they were uploaded this Monday. They were added to my ecas sometime this morning.
