Hi ,
I will also do something similar. Don't you think they will question you, why are you for TRV in India? Do you think there will not be any problem?

Hey guys,

I don't know who updates the tracker, but could you write that I sent additional documents on November 9th, and paid upfront RPRF on November 19th? I sent the receipt by email but I saw some posts where people had to write their information and sign it... Mine was just a payment receipt... I hope I did everything right... I did put all my information on the email though.

Done. Good luck my friend.

I had my MR on June 29th, and the same day my additional documents request (T4, NoA and CPP from Israel). I only sent my NoA last week as I had to sue my former employer...

My application is in French, and I know another guy (French speaker too, apparently) from October had more or less the same timeline and got his PR a few months ago.

So I called CIC this morning. The guy was nice and he seemed to be prepared on the topic. He said that they have definitely shifted the average waiting time to 18 months, although it doesn't reflect on the website, and he specified "from the date we received the application." I double checked with that and he said all the average waiting times are from when the application was received. He told me to mark my calendar and if by the time 18 months are gone I haven't received any news from CIC then I should call back and they will send a note to the officer handling my case, or something like that. My application was received on Aug 26 2014 so I will call back at the end of February.

February 2016!? can you believe that?

Yes this is what i also got not from call center but from my lawyers.

applicant of August do not get their PPR by end of this month, according to this, I do not think October applicant could get it done by April 2016.

CIC is not keeping their words, which is really a nightmare to every CEC applicants.

but, for ourselves, we need to be patient and patient and be patient.

Guys...read the latest updates on June 2014 thread to bring smiles back to your face..... :) :) :) :)

Hi friends, good evening, need clarification/advise from you.

in case if my application is getting rejected due to one of the family members medical issues, does it mean that all the family members have been rejected for the PR or only the particular person of the family cant get PR...

thanks a lot in advance.

I just got an e-mail back from my immigration lawyer.

Here is part of his reply to my request of updates....

".... You are quite right – PR applications made within the past 18 months have been slowed down to the point that very few of them have been completed or made much progressed over the past 6 months - and we do suspect this is due, in part, to moving resources to Express Entry so as to guarantee a “good start” to that programme.

It appears now that these older CEC files are running at (no less than) 20 months of processing.

We will let you know immediately if we see any movement on your file or if we detect any progress with respect to pre-2015 CEC files in general."

Unfortunately we still need to keep up.
