I applied for my TRV online and I provided my bank statements of the past 6 months, current employment letter, and previous employment letters. Basically everything I sent in for PR.

What misrepresentation are they saying exactly?

i am a bit worried about that as well, since i got rejected on my first PR application for a separate reason but on my new application i selected a different NOC so my job duties were changed to reflect that NOC on my new job letter as recommended by my consultant, hope it does not count against me

Expect 4 weeks after your BG changed to In Progress for the second time. Thats the current trend.

mine has been over 4 weeks. im a cec inland. bg went back in progress the 2nd time on july 29.. thought i would hear something in 2-4 weeks but up until today im still waiting.. so cic is not really black and white when it comes to timelines.. my aor is march 11 btw..

It probably took 2 weeks total. It was the nicest immigration process I've been through, haha.

Hey Could you elaborate a bit more of what did they say? What exactly did they accuse you of?

In 2013 I held a volunteer position from May to October and I listed it as work in a TRV I applied for in November 2013 (I had an open post graduation work permit at the time). I never said it was paid employment, but I had been unemployed for months and all I had been doing was volunteering with this organization. My TRV was approved.

In 2016, when I flled my PR application, I didn't list this volunteer position because I didn't think it was relevant anymore and simply listed that period as unemployment.

Before I received the Procedural Fairness letter, I applied for a new TRV and a BOWP. Both were approved.

On June 23rd, I received the letter accusing me of misrepresentation. The procedural fairness letter says I said I was contradicting myself because I'd said I'd been working, but also I said I'd been unemployed. Both are correct, but I should've listed the volunteering on my PR application as well.

However, the letter is accusing me of doing this in 2015. I was never unemployed during 2015 (my taxes and income indicate that), so I'm sure they made a mistake and meant 2013.

I included a statutory declaration sworn by me, letters from the coordinator of the organization I was volunteering with, and all sorts of evidence declaring that I simply made an honest mistake.

Hope no one else is in this situation ever! It's killing me with anxiety.

Agent said that decision can be any time but the maximum official time for call centre agent's action is december end...hoping for best and decision asap..

Hi everyone,

I am in the process of filling out my EE profile and had a quick question that you guys may be able to answer.

I have been working in Toronto for the past two years in a full-time NOC A job. I am on a PGWP and did not need an LMIA to get my job.

How do I go about answering the below questions?

1. "Do you have a job offer in Canada"
2. "Was a LMIA issued for this"
3. "Is you work permit LMIA approved"

While 2 and 3 are a straight-forward NO in my case, should I mark the first question as YES?

Does marking this as NO reduce my points in any way?

You would answer YES to question 1. My husband was the same, he has been working for the same employer since we moved here 4 years ago so although he technically didn't get a job offer as such, the fact you are in employment means you have a job offer. Does that make sense?
The documents needed when you get an ITA will be a letter from your current employer confirming your employment with them, your start date, benefits package, salary, duties and NOC code.
