Yes, the same has happened with me as well. My wife called cic couple of weeks ago and was informed by the agent that everything has passed. The online profile has to get updated. However, we received nothing yet even after everything has been cleared. I guess the best thing to do now is wait. That's all we can do. Ordering the notes would delay the process.

Do you mean ordering GCMS note delays the decision on your PR? I have ordered the note twice now. Could that be the reason for the delay in approval ?

I am not 100% sure, but I read on the forum from a lot of people about the same thing. It is advisable to order notes only if they exceed 6 months time limit. In my case It has only been 4 months, so my only option is to wait. That's what the cic agent has advised me.

Update today: called the IRCC again today. The agent confirmed my approval and said a confirmation letter will be issued shortly. However, the schedule for my landing interview is still a long way to go depending on my city of residence (it is super busy as he commented)

There is absolutely nothing related with ordering your GCMS note, it is generated automatically by the system!! why would it delay your PR application? Frankly...it is weird :)

Vancouver... It looks like I won't get any passport request according to the agent I spoke to yesterday. I am waiting for their confirmation of approval (if that's a thing) and hope I get it soon...
