CEC File No->Work Permit?

Hi there,

My friend had applied for CEC and has received his file number. His post grad work permit would be expiring on June 2015.

Would he be able to apply for the bridging work permit based on the CEC file number?

Yes he is most certainly eligible if he applies when he has 4 months or less on his post graduate work permit.

Just to confirm, he just has the file number and not a confirmation that he is approved by CEC.

Hi,
his AOR is the confirmation he needs for the BOWP application. If he's received his file number it means he's got his AOR.

By the way - what is AOR? Is it the same as his CEC file no or something different?

AOR Acknowledgement Of Receipt. The file number is in this (AOR) letter.
