Eligibility changed to inprogress today..aor dec 22
no email, no changes in gckey account. In tracker eligibility changed to inprogress(last updated date remains as mar 20).
maybe tomorrow or Friday is your golden day, hopefully.

Several of Kitchener PVO got the approval email from Etobicoke. So I think after finalizing stuff, VOs will send stuff to Etobicoke VO to send out approval emails.
I think Etobicoke is not real VO, they just do work after approval.

Eligibility completed in tracker -29 March.
tracker also shows message dated on 28march that we received the information you sent us even though I did not sent any info ..is it indication of background completion as well ? As per tracker background check is not started yet

I caught the GU just now. Background check in GCKey says :
"Your application is in progress. We will send you a message when we start your background check"
nothing on tracker, i believe, tomorrow Background check in GCkey will go back to previous status “We are processing…”. This is the first actual movement seen since Jan 26. per ircc call, criminality and info sharing was done already. hopefully eligibility get completed soon. lots of wait still pending
"We received information" means the eligibility is completed / Security initiated. You are in the final leg of the process. If you don't get re-medical request, can expect an approval in a few weeks (based on the complexity of your location history)
Same situation Everything is completed, doctors haven't sent the medical report to IRCC yet, waiting for that to be completed. Hope they do it soon. Its almost 8 days now.
