Does anyone know what an application assignment date is in GCMS? My application assignment date shows March 16th. If that's the date when they start working on the file again, I wonder if my security is done and dusted and my file is just sitting around catching dust

Just wondering if you got any ghost updates? I got one, 4 weeks before PPR. I called CIC and I was told my file was Approved. Then I waited 4 weeks to get actual PPR email.

Does anyone know what an application assignment date is in GCMS? My application assignment date shows March 16th. If that's the date when they start working on the file again, I wonder if my security is done and dusted and my file is just sitting around catching dust

I read in a couple of blogs that the due date is the internal date for them to finish you eligibility......not sure is true tho

What????????????????? OMG!!! That would be soooooooooo annoying! To know you are approved but not have your PPR email.....I open my account everyday, ok, i few times a day....so far no ghost updates.

Yeah at that time it was annoying! Once I had the PPR, it didn't matter
That relief and happiness made me forget everything! Hope you get yours really soon!

I got a response to the CSE I'd raised. It says the background verifications are in progress, my file is in Edmonton office and they're checking to make sure I meet eligibility requirements. Mighty helpful! Sigh!

The notes have the date on which the request was made, any update during the 30 days waiting period is not mentioned
